Accept an offer

Congratulations on your acceptance, you’re going to love it here!

By choosing Cambrian, you’ll get access to industry-connected faculty and specialized shops and labs, and you will take part in hands-on projects and outstanding educational experiences that will open up a world of career opportunities.

To-do list

Here is a summary of everything you need to do to secure your spot:

  • Accept your offer at ontariocolleges.ca
  • Clear any outstanding conditions (if your offer is conditional)
  • Log in to your myCambrian account and check it often for updates
  • Watch your email or check your myCambrian account for any special program requirements and deadlines
  • Pay your term deposit by the deadline
  • If you’re being sponsored, submit your sponsorship letter to Cambrian’s Registrar’s Office (Enrolment Centre)

    Accepting your offer is easy, here’s how to say yes to Cambrian

    • Go to ontariocolleges.ca
    • Log in to your account
    • Click on “View Offers” to see your offer(s) of admission
    • Select the offer you wish to accept
    • Click “Confirm” (there will be two separate times you’ll need to hit confirm)
    • Log out

    Once you have an offer of admission to a Cambrian College program, you’ll see a confirmation due date on the ‘Applicant’ tab in your myCambrian account. Your seat in the program you’ve been accepted to will be held for you until that date. If you don’t accept your offer by then, your offer of admission may expire. If you have questions about your offer of admission, email us at info@cambriancollege.ca.

    Pro tip! May 1st is the deadline to confirm your offer of admission (conditional or final) with ontariocolleges.ca or you may risk losing your place if the program is oversubscribed.

      What does my offer mean?

      Final

      You have met all requirements for admission to your program.

      Conditional

      You must satisfy all outstanding admission requirements for your acceptance to be finalized. Check your myCambrian account for more information. Conditions must be satisfied before you can proceed with registration/selecting your timetable.

      Waitlist

      When all available places in a program have been filled, a reasonable number of qualified applicants will be placed on a waitlist. If you are waitlisted, you will receive an email with further details. In the event that a place in the program becomes available, applicants with the highest grades in the required courses will be notified. If you move off the waitlist, it’s important you accept your offer as soon as possible. You may confirm your acceptance to one program and still remain on waitlists for other programs.

      Alternate

      If you do not meet the admission requirements for the program of your choice, your application may be considered for other related programs.

      Changed your mind?

      You may accept a different offer as long as you confirm it before the stated deadline in your myCambrian account. This action will automatically cancel your first acceptance.

      When you accept your offer

      Once you accept your offer you will receive a congratulatory email. Continue to monitor your email for important specific instructions and next steps regarding your college admission. After you accept your offer, the ‘Student’ tab will become visible in your myCambrian account.
