Here’s how to apply
Step 1 – Get started by creating your OCAS application
Visit ontariocolleges.ca (OCAS) and begin your application by creating an account. Fill in the required information for a new applicant.
Step 2 – Apply to a Cambrian program
Once you’ve created your OCAS account and you know which program you’d like to take, choose the time period when you’d like to go to Cambrian and follow the prompts to continue, including requesting your transcripts and paying the required fees.
Some of our programs offer six different start dates, meaning you have the ultimate flexibility to start the program at the time of year that works best for you.
Pro Tip! You can select the “Apply Now” button on any Cambrian program page to apply directly to that Cambrian program. If you’d like to add more choices later, just log in to your OCAS account.
Step 3 – Track your application status
You can track your application status through your myCambrian account. When you apply, you will be given access to a myCambrian account that lets you track the status of your application on the ‘Applicant’ tab.
Pro Tip! Once you accept your Cambrian offer at ontariocolleges.ca, you will also gain access to the ‘Student’ tab where you can view important documents related to your program and select your timetable when registration opens. You’ll also be able to access your grades and view class cancellations when you are a student. Learn more about myCambrian
Step 4 – What happens next?
Once you’ve applied through OCAS, our admissions team will evaluate your application. You will be sent an email with instructions on how to log in to your myCambrian account.
Monitor your email, as well as the ‘Applicant’ tab in your myCambrian account, to keep track of any missing program admission requirements that you may have and to watch for an offer of admission. You’ll need to accept your offer of admission to continue through the admission process.
Pro Tip! Were you placed on a waitlist and have questions? See our accept your offer page for information about waitlists.
Equal consideration date
To be considered on an equal basis, your application must be received at ontariocolleges.ca no later than February 1. This is a very important date in the application process. After February 1, applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, provided there are still seats available in the program(s) you’ve applied to. Use the find program feature at ontariocolleges.ca to find out which programs are still open and accepting applications.
