Fast-track to a degree in nursing!
If you are a practicing Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Ontario, get on the fast-track to earning your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
This program provides a bridging semester that will prepare you for entry into year 3 of Cambrian’s competitive nursing degree program where you’ll elevate your skills and knowledge even further to expand your career opportunities as a Registered Nurse (RN) in hospitals, long-term care settings, community agencies, and more.
Bridging semester
To begin, you will complete one semester comprised of eight in-person courses to elevate your skills and knowledge in nursing practice, theory, and communication to be prepared for the rigor of the degree program. Don’t forget to apply to the course code PNUR at OCAS!
Year 3 of Cambrian’s Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing (NURS)
Successful completion of the bridging courses will make you eligible to apply to enter semester 5 (Year 3) of Cambrian’s 8-semester (4-year) degree program where you will expand your nursing abilities even further through coursework, clinicals, and a practicum.
Graduates of an approved BScN program will be eligible to apply to the CNO to take the registration exam to qualify as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Please note that admission into Cambrian’s BScN program is limited and highly competitive, and that completion of the bridging courses does not guarantee admission.
