SUDBURY – It should be a busy few months at Cambrian College.
The spring semester begins next week, and the college is hosting numerous activities to help students adjust to campus life.
It all begins May 1, with an orientation session for new international students.
Orientation Week kicks into high gear May 5-7. Events include a social insurance number clinic for international students who want to work during their time at Cambrian, a meet and greet carnival, the Ask Me desk to help students navigate campus, and a college and community services fair where students can learn more about the support services available to them on campus and in the community.
“We are a year-round college, and more students are choosing to start their studies at different points in the year other than the traditional fall and winter semesters, so we want to ensure these students get the same welcome and support as they begin their programs,” explains Renee Scott, Cambrian’s Director of Marketing, Recruitment and Student Success. “It’s also great to have that energy on campus all year long, especially during spring and summer.”
Cambrian offers more than 100 programs, with classes starting throughout the year. To learn more, visit https://cambriancollege.ca/programs.
