A warm winter’s welcome: Cambrian College kicks off the 2025 winter term

Jan 2, 2025

SUDBURY – The start of a new year means the start of a new term at Cambrian College.

The 2025 winter term gets underway January 3, with orientation for new international students.

The full Orientation Week launches Monday, January 6, with a full range of activities, including:

  • Ask Me Desk, in-person and virtually, to help students navigate their way around campus.
  • Meet and Greet Carnival.
  • Toonie lunch in the Student Life Centre.
  • College and Community Student Services Fair, where students can connect with Sudbury community organizations to learn about the wide range of resources available to them both in Sudbury and on campus.

“Orientation Week is so important for all of our new students to help them feel comfortable, at home, and ready to learn here at Cambrian,” says Renee Scott, Cambrian’s Director of Marketing, Recruitment, and Student Success. “This is a big step in life and a very exciting time, so we just want to make sure everyone starts off on the right foot.”
