Take your business management skills worldwide
Whatever your educational or cultural background, Cambrian prepares you to perform managerial roles in global organizations, as well as domestic businesses engaged in cross-border activities. Learn all the fundamentals of marketing, finance, and business strategy in a global setting. With an emphasis on leadership, critical analysis, and high-performance teamwork, you’ll gain decision-making skills to solve real-life problems in an international context.
Taught by industry experts, the program includes a full semester co-op with leading community and global businesses and the option of spending a semester abroad at a partner institution.

Admissions
Admission requirements
Applicants must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program from an Ontario College or equivalent.
OR
Applicant must possess five years of work experience in a related field (or combination of education and work experience) as judged by the college to be equivalent. Applicants must submit a resume detailing their related experience and a cover letter outlining their competencies and preparedness for the program (any and all post-secondary transcripts must still be submitted).

Work-integrated learning (WIL)

Whether it be a capstone project, co-op, practicum, preceptorship component, or placement, you’ll benefit from a practical, job-related experience before you graduate.

PowerNorth Utility Contractors – During this mandatory co-op as a Project Administration student the responsibilities included:
- Assisting in gathering documents required for potential project bids
- Acting as in-office support for project administration
- Assisting with the arrangement of project-specific training and health and safety requirements
- Maintaining digital and physical records for all project administration
- Daily posting of project labour and equipment usage in the accounting system
- Answering general inquiries or redirecting them as appropriate
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The Top Media – This mandatory co-op offered students the opportunity to gain practical work experience with the following:
- Assisting in managing engaging social media content and maintaining brand consistency
- Strategizing to boost followers and engagement across various platforms
- Researching trends for strategic digital marketing enhancements
- Collaborating on business development initiatives and fostering partnerships
- Analyzing data for performance insights and actionable reports
- Contributing creative ideas for multimedia content and campaigns.
Toromont CAT – As a Compensation Expert Intern the students were expected to keep Toromont Cat competitive within their market, and analyze compensation and benefits that others within their industry have for packages to employees.
Additional details – If you have completed all courses with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher you will be eligible for a 14-week minimum co-op. You will also have the option to do a semester abroad with an educational partner of Cambrian College if you choose.

Success in this program requires that you come equipped with some program-specific technology requirements.

- Regular access to a computer with a reliable Internet connection
- Webcam and headset
- Personal computer
- Windows 10 OR 11(preferred), with 64-bit Intel OR AMD multicore processor, Intel i5 OR AMD equivalent at minimum
- Graphics: Intel HD Graphics – Intel HD Graphics 400
- RAM: 8 GB OR 16 GB (preferred)
- Storage: 16 GB – 32 GB SSD, 100 GB free with 10 GB minimum for software installs
System requirements for assistive technology
To access the widest range of assistive technology (AT), a Windows-based computer is recommended.
- Recommended OS: Windows 10 or newer
- Recommended CPU: Intel or AMD multicore processor
- Recommended RAM: 8 GB
- Recommended storage for assistive technology: 8 GB of available hard drive of solid state drive space (please note this is not the total drive size and refers specifically to available space needed for assistive technology)
- Recommended audio: Speakers or headphones for text-to-speech and microphone for speech input.
While Apple computers can provide many AT options, some specialized software may not be available/compatible with this platform. Please consult with the Glenn Crombie Centre for further details.
