    Student for a day program

Starting college can be scary for some. We also want each student to feel confident in their decision to attend Cambrian College. If you have a student who would like to try out Cambrian and see if the program they’re considering is truly right for them, they can participate in our student for a day program. They’ll sit in on classes and labs, meet faculty, and have a chance to chat with current students to see what it’s like to be a student.

You or your student can email info@cambriancollege.ca to get started.

      Important dates and details

If your student or client is ready to apply, or if they are looking for the next steps after applying, visit our admissions pages for more information.

What does an applicant do after accepting an offer of admission?

If the applicant has accepted an offer to Cambrian, their non-refundable $250 term deposit becomes due to secure their spot in their program. This is important, especially if the applicant’s program has a limited number of seats. Payments can be made through online banking, Flywire, or by using Higher Ed points.

Information about orientation, timetable selection, book lists, etc. will be provided to applicants six weeks before their program’s start date in their myCambrian account and via email.

Applicants can check their eligibility for scholarships and bursaries by completing the short survey in the Finance myEducation section in their myCambrian account.

Review our digital admissions guide for other key dates and deadlines.

What if an applicant has an offer to Cambrian but hasn’t confirmed it?

Applicants can see the details of their offer in their myCambrian account. An applicant won’t be officially granted admission until they confirm their acceptance to Cambrian through their ontariocolleges.ca account.

What kind of marks do applicants need? Cut-off grades, or benchmarks, for limited enrolment/highly competitive programs, vary somewhat from one year to the next, depending on the pool of applicants. These grades relate to high school applicants only and represent the prerequisite averages. View our current program benchmarks to help guide students who are interested in taking a limited enrolment program.
