Overview

Stressed, out of focus or struggling? Let us help you.

Sometimes life can become overwhelming, and you could use some extra support. The GCC team offers understanding, short-term personal counselling to guide you through loneliness, the death of a loved one, a relationship breakdown, or any kind of trauma. If you’re struggling academically or need help setting goals, you will find a safe and confidential space to work things out at the Centre.

Counselling services

  • Access confidential counselling services if you are struggling with:
  • Feelings of being overwhelmed
  • Feelings of being lost, angry, guilty, or embarrassed
  • Trying to figure out what’s wrong (no motivation, apathy, etc.)
  • Your social well-being (relationships with friends, family, partner)
  • Your potential career path or academic success

Please don’t put off getting the help you need, we’re here to help you and provide you with opportunities to succeed personally and academically.

It’s tough being a student and we know that you don’t always want to talk to us about how you’re feeling. That’s why we’ve launched TalkCampus. An app where you can talk with other students from around the world if you’re struggling and worried about your mental health. Your student email address will give you free access, just download TalkCampus from the app stores. It’s a place just for you, no staff, no fear of judgment, just instant ongoing support.
