Campus Public Safety ensures the well-being of the campus community!
Our dedicated security guards are on duty 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and serve as the College’s emergency first responders. Trained in fire safety, first aid, and the use of defibrillators, they promptly respond
Campus Public Safety:
- Maintains a highly visible presence on campus.
- Supports a productive learning & working environment.
- Conducts regular patrols of the Barry Downe campus and Residence.
- Facilitates Public Safety services as needed or requested.
- Provides reliable 24/7 response to routine and emergency calls.
- Educates the campus community on important safety and prevention topics.
- Conducts investigations and enforce college policies.
Cambrian Safe App
Cambrian Safe is the official safety app of Cambrian College. Cambrian Safe, is a one-stop app where students, faculty, and staff can go for information, assistance, and real-time alerts regarding health and safety. Cambrian Safe includes emergency procedures, campus safety initiatives, support resources, and real-time alerts for emergency situations.
You can download the Cambrian Safe app at both the Apple and Google stores. We have created a guide for downloading and activating the app: this guide is available on your myCambrian Student Dashboard.
We encourage you to download the Cambrian Safe app to receive real-time emergency notifications and to have access to important on-campus safety information.
Safe at Cambrian
Cambrian College is committed to maintaining a healthy and safe learning, living, social, recreational, and work environment. As a follow-up to the release of an official sexual assault and sexual violence policy and protocol in 2015, we launched Safe at Cambrian.
Safe at Cambrian promotes awareness of the College’s sexual assault and sexual violence policies and protocols and provides important information about how to get help and support for those who have experienced or witnessed sexual assault or sexual violence.
