School of Community Services

Be the force that makes a positive impact on your community!

Do you have an open heart and a curious mind? Put your compassion into action when you channel your abilities into a rewarding career helping those in need. At Cambrian’s School of Community Services, you’ll address complex societal issues and promote self-determination for people of all ages.

Cambrian understands that children learn through play. Our Early Childhood programs use interactive classroom exercises to train you to design play-based learning for children from birth to 12 years of age. And if you’re currently working in early childhood education, we have a flexible, one-of-a-kind program that lets you earn your degree while working.

Develop the skills to guide at-risk youth and their families with our nationally accredited Child and Youth Care program. You’ll learn to navigate everything from correctional facilities to mental health, educational, and child welfare agencies. Or you can train to use alternative modes of communication like sign language or braille to improve the lives of those with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities.

If you’re committed to social justice, join the Social Service program to learn how to remove barriers to stable housing, education, employment, health care, and social services. By adding an Indigenous specialization, you’ll set yourself apart with the skill to navigate cultural challenges. However you choose to serve your community, Cambrian is dedicated to nurturing your potential.
