Since 1986, our satellite campuses have served the people of Manitoulin Island, Val Caron, Chelmsford, and the North Shore. The campuses serve both job seekers and employers through Employment Options and the delivery of programs like employment services.

Pre-employment and life skills training are mainstays of the programming at the campuses. The campuses work with local employers and communities to offer customized training, continuing education opportunities, and specialized programs and training such as pre-apprenticeship, entrepreneurship, and professional office skills.

Academic Upgrading and Adult Literacy are also available at the Espanola and Manitoulin campuses.

Free academic upgrading and adult literacy programs

Do you want to learn in a comfortable, friendly environment? Cambrian’s free Academic Upgrading and adult literacy programs are perfect if you want to obtain your high school equivalency certificate, improve your job opportunities and employment skills, or meet prerequisites for college programs. Available virtually or in person at our Espanola and Manitoulin campuses.

Better Jobs Ontario – interested in a new career?

If you’re eligible, Better Jobs Ontario can provide you with skills training to help you rejoin the workforce quickly. All applicants can now qualify for up to two years of training support. Through the program, you can apply for up to $35,000 for program related costs.
