Cambrian College hosts annual Fall Open House November 7 – October 29

SUDBURY, ON – Choosing a college is a big decision, and finding the right program, exploring career opportunities, and experiencing campus is all part of the process.

Cambrian College wants to help prospective students and their families make that decision, at its annual Fall Open House.

Fall Open House is being held Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cambrian’s Barry Downe campus.

It is an opportunity to experience campus first-hand, explore programs, and meet faculty and staff who can answer questions about attending Cambrian.

“Visiting the college you are thinking of attending can really help you finalize your decision, and we’re confident that once you come to our campus, you will like what you see and experience,” says Renee Scott, Cambrian’s Director of Marketing, Recruitment, and Student Success. “Choosing your college is one of the first major decisions you will make in your life, and we’re here to answer all the questions you want answered before you make your decision. Come to see what we have to offer.”

In addition to campus tours, program booths, information on financial support, and free food, Cambrian’s Fall Open House also includes an application station. Apply to Cambrian at Fall Open House and the college will waive the $150 application fee.

There are also numerous prizes, including $10,000 towards tuition, a $1,000 scholarship, a 75-inch television and soundbar, and a custom metal creation made by students in Cambrian’s Welding and Fabrication Technician program.

Visitors to Fall Open House who have already received an offer to attend Cambrian can pick up their free Cambrian-branded Under Armour backpack.

Those travelling from outside Sudbury will also receive a $50 gas card per vehicle or family by registering before November 2 and attending the event.

Pre-register for Fall Open House by November 2 for the chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card.

For those unable to explore Cambrian’s Information Technology programs in person, a virtual session will also be available to connect prospective students with faculty.
