Cambrian R&D podcast, The Unlikely Innovators, finds new home on Eastlink Television – October 8

SUDBURY – From the world of podcasting to the small screen: Dr. Mike Commito and Steve Gravel of Cambrian R&D are bringing their podcast, The Unlikely Innovators to Eastlink TV.

The Unlikely Innovators highlights stories of innovation and bright ideas in post-secondary education and the private sector.

“We’re excited and flattered that Eastlink TV picked up our podcast for broadcast, “says Dr. Commito, Director of Cambrian R&D, the applied research division of Cambrian College. “The Unlikely Innovators has been a fun way to highlight some of the people who have been at the forefront of innovation across a variety of industries, particularly in Greater Sudbury and northern Ontario.”

“There’s so much innovation happening around Ontario and at colleges across the province, and in each episode, we get to sit down with some of the people driving that innovation,” adds Steve Gravel, Manager of the Centre for Smart Mining within Cambrian R&D.

The Unlikely Innovators can be seen on Eastlink channel 610 at 8 p.m. on Tuesday evenings. The first episode airs October 21.
