Employees at Cambrian College’s satellite sites in Espanola and Little Current volunteered their time at this year’s Smile Cookie campaign at the Tim Hortons locations in those communities. Helping out at the Little Current location were (left to right): Nicole Taylor and Lynn McGillis of Cambrian College, Cheryl Draper of the Lions Club, and volunteer Norma Hughson. Now that’s a sweet smile! Employees at Cambrian College’s satellite sites in Espanola and Little Current volunteered their hands and sweet teeth to the annual Holiday Smile Cookie campaign at the local Tim Hortons locations.

They spent a few hours decorating cookies to be sold to support local charities. A Holiday Smile Cookie costs $1.50 and will be on sale until Sunday, November 24.

“We volunteer for the Smile Cookie campaign every year as we love to be able to give back to our communities in meaningful ways,” explains Rebeka Robin, Administrative Assistant at Cambrian’s Espanola satellite site.

Funds raised through the Little Current location will be given to the Little Current Lions Club, which is donating its share of the proceeds to the Manitoulin Health Centre Auxiliary and Fixing our Felines.

Proceeds from the sale of Smile Cookies at the Tim Hortons locations in Espanola and McKerrow are going to the Espanola Regional Hospital Foundation, for the purchase of new cardiac monitoring equipment.
