SUDBURY – If you are a potential student thinking of attending Cambrian College, who better to talk to than another student already fully immersed in the Cambrian experience.
That is the focus of Cambrian’s Open House – Student Takeover version, Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the college’s main campus in Greater Sudbury.
Current Cambrian students will be leading the event.
“We know that students listen to other students,” explains Renee Scott, Cambrian’s director of marketing, recruitment, and student success. “For our Open House in June, more than 100 of our students are eager to share their experiences at Cambrian and what we have to offer. They can provide an honest, first-hand account of what to expect when it comes to classes and labs, where to eat, the social life and living in residence.”
For Sanjay Avasarala of Scarborough, a student in Cambrian’s Dental Hygiene program, helping to lead the June Open House is an opportunity not to be missed.
Participating in the Open House – Student Takeover at Cambrian College has truly made a difference in my experience as a Dental Hygiene student,” adds Sanjay. “Engaging with current students, discovering campus life, and getting first-hand insights are priceless experiences that lay the foundation for a successful college journey. I encourage all future students to take advantage of this opportunity and explore the lively community and endless opportunities waiting for them at Cambrian College.”
Visitors will learn about Cambrian’s student services, campus facilities and academic programs, including Cambrian’s new degree-level programs in nursing and business administration.
Open House – Student Takeover edition also features free food, campus tours, and prizes including a $10,000 cash prize, a $1,000 scholarship, a barbeque and Muskoka chairs.
Sign up before May 27, 2024, for a chance to win the early bird prize of a $500 Amazon gift card.
