Indigenous Transition Program

If you’re an Indigenous student, this FREE program can help you prepare for college. During the program, you’ll get to know the Cambrian community while discovering what services are available to help support you throughout your college journey. Meet your program coordinators and faculty, become familiar with the systems you’ll learn in (Moodle and myCambrian), discover what learning strategies will work for you to be successful, and much more!

Registration is open until August 12, 2024.

  • No cost to join (all supplies provided)
  • Food provided (snacks and lunch provided daily)
  • Rooms in Cambrian Residence are available if required
  • Opportunity to build connections with Indigenous students, professors, and members of the Sudbury community
  • Wholistic teachings will be provided to help ground you in your college experience (based on the Medicine Wheel)
  • Academic skills and college success strategies will be woven throughout the program
  • Introduction to available supports on and off campus
