Join us to learn more about Truth and Reconciliation

September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Truth and reconciliation is the process by which we acknowledge the painful history and ongoing impacts of Canada’s residential school system on Indigenous people, and how we can work together to improve the lives of Indigenous people today.

As a lead-up to National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Cambrian has several initiatives planned over the month.

Team Cambrian in the Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS) Truth and Reconciliation Relay

Cambrian College is once again participating in the GSPS Truth and Reconciliation Relay. It is a fun event with a serious purpose: to raise awareness for the process of truth and reconciliation.

Team Cambrian has more than 100 members and will be attending a closing ceremony at Bell Park on September 26!

Please take the time to learn more about truth and reconciliation. There are 94 Calls to Action: Cambrian has adopted 14 of them.
