Nervous about starting Cambrian College in the fall?
Unsure of what to expect? Not sure you have the necessary skills to be successful? If you have answered ‘yes’ to any of the above questions, then we have the program for you!
Ready, Get SET, College! will introduce you to services and systems at Cambrian College, and provide tips and tricks for college success, and prepare you in the areas of English, math, and/or health sciences.
All sessions are FREE and are open to anyone attending Cambrian College in September.
Please note
This program is available for Canadian students who are entering a Cambrian program in September 2026 and you must be able to attend in person.
You will:
- Learn about Cambrian College services and systems to ensure you start your new post-secondary program in September with confidence
- Learn and apply valuable student success skills (time management, test-preparation, etc.)
- Get the subject-specific foundation customized for your needs in the areas of English, math, and health sciences
- Meet new friends and make connections with professors

Cambrian College

Ready, Get SET, College! will take place on campus. While attendance for some classes is mandatory, you’ll be able to customize most of your schedule to suit your needs!
Courses
Individual courses are three hours long, and you are required to take at least four classes throughout the two weeks. You can choose between a morning or an afternoon class.
Required orientation courses:
- Cambrian specific skills and resources
- General skills for college success
Choose at least two of the following courses that best suit your needs:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Math (three different topic options)
- English (three different topic options)
