About

The Cambrian Pride Run & Walk is a fundraising initiative aimed at supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, their friends, families, and allies, hosted by Cambrian College, in Sudbury, Ontario.

Our inaugural event in 2024 offers two accessible courses set amidst Cambrian College’s beautiful campus: a 1km and a 5km walk/run course.

Proceeds generated from this event will be used to establish bursaries for students within the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, on behalf of the Cambrian College Athletic Centre, Cambrian’s KPMG Pride Centre, and the Wellness Program.

Our mission

The Cambrian Pride Run is an athletic event dedicated to fostering allyship and resilience within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at Cambrian College and the Greater Sudbury area. Our objective is to cultivate an inclusive and diverse environment while offering comprehensive health and wellness support, aligned with the principles of the international Okanagan Charter.
