Anmar Mechanical Indigenous Student Support Program
Available to Indigenous students entering your second or third year of study, or enrolled in a post-graduate program. Please note that this requires an interest in working within the mining and supply sectors upon graduation.
Funding details
- Full tuition and ancillary fees are covered for the year (the amount varies depending on the program)
- Housing support covered for the year ($3,000 if living in residence and $2,000 if living off-campus)
- Support for one trip home per semester (up to $1,500)

Participation requirements
- Must identify as an Indigenous student
- Must express interest in working within the mining and supply sectors upon graduation
- Must possess a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must display through previous experiences and an interview with the Wabnode Centre for Indigenous
- Services; the leadership competencies of teamwork, innovation, and a passion for excellence
- Recipients will be required to meet with a Wabnode Centre and Anmar Mechanical representative each semester to discuss program progress and opportunities for further support
- Recipients may be provided with placements and/or opportunities for work-integrated learning experiences at Anmar Mechanical
