Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) was created to develop, implement, and enforce accessibility standards across Ontario. Its purpose is to identify, remove, and prevent barriers faced by people with disabilities in key areas of daily life—such as customer service, information and communication, employment, transportation, and the built environment. The goal of the AODA is to achieve a fully accessible Ontario where people with disabilities can participate equally and independently.
Cambrian College’s commitment to AODA
Cambrian College is committed to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) to ensure that our campus, services, and programs are accessible to everyone. Our goal is to identify, prevent, and remove barriers so that students, employees, and community members with disabilities can fully access and independently participate in all aspects of college life. By complying with AODA standards, we promote an inclusive, equitable environment and continually improve accessibility across the college.
To support this goal, Cambrian College has developed a 2025–2030 Multi-Year Plan outlining our key accessibility priorities across campus. We also publish an Annual Status Report that highlights the accessibility projects we have completed each year. All documents are available in alternate formats upon request: accessibility@cambriancollege.ca
Is Cambrian accessible? Let us know!
The Accessibility Advisory Committee and the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion are responsible for receiving and addressing all accessibility-related feedback and complaints. We are committed to providing excellent service, and your input helps us continue to improve your experience at Cambrian. Upon request, this process is also available in alternate formats and with communication supports.
Please provide feedback to our AODA Committee: accessibility@cambriancollege.ca
