There is no disputing we are living in challenging times. What can you do to help develop strategies to cope with the stressors you may be experiencing? In this lesson, we will explore the concept of stress, your reactions to stress, and some of the strategies you can use to build resilience.

Living the Good Life (Mino-Bimaadiziwin)

This module will explain how to live the Good Life (Mino-Bimaadiziwin) by using the Medicine Wheel. The Medicine Wheel is an ancient symbol used by some Indigenous Peoples of North and South America. It teaches us that we have four aspects of ourselves that need to be in balance and equally developed to remain healthy. In this module you will be provided an example of how to assess and create some personal goals in relation to your spiritual, emotional, physical and mental health, and your overall well-being.

These modules are designed to provide you with some financial planning basics that will help you develop a keen insight into your spending, a resiliency to unforeseen circumstances, and ways to maximize your financial future through a better understanding of the Registered Retirement Savings offerings. Topics to be covered include budgeting techniques and financial resiliency, protecting your lifestyle, and income tax and RSP 101 (including first-time home buyers and education options).
