How do I register for a parking permit?
To register for and purchase parking permits from Parking Services, all users must create a profile on ParkAdmin, Parking Services’ online parking system.

I am a visitor. How much does it cost to park on campus?
Short term (hourly) parking is available in lots 6, 9, and 12 at a cost of $2 per hour. Parking in pay and display lots is $2 per hour or $8 for 12 hours in all gold lots and $1 per hour or $5 for 12 hours in all burgundy lots.
What payment options are available to me when paying for parking permits?

  1. Student Payment Options

    Students may pay for parking permits and parking tickets online using Visa or MasterCard. Cheques and Interac payments are accepted in person at the Parking Services Office, room 2207, however patrons are strongly encouraged to complete the transaction online. If there are circumstances preventing you from being able to pay for a permit, please contact Parking Services to discuss your situation. Please do not park on College property without a permit or pay and display receipt as vehicles with unpaid tickets are subject to wheel immobilization or tickets being sent to collections.

  2. Faculty and Staff Payment Options

    Full-time faculty and staff may pay for annual parking permits through payroll deduction or in full online using Visa or MasterCard. Cheques and Interac payments are accepted in person at Parking Services, room 2207, however patrons are strongly encouraged to complete the transaction online.. When paying by payroll deduction, the cost of the annual parking permit is divided into 26 equal bi-weekly deductions. Parking permits remain the property of Cambrian College and will be cancelled by Parking Services when leaving employment with the College in order to have the payroll deductions discontinued. Part-time, contract, term, or casual employees are not eligible for payment by payroll deduction. Payment is available online using Visa or MasterCard. Cheques, and Interac payments are accepted in person at the Parking Services Office, room 2207, however patrons are strongly encouraged to complete the transaction online.

I just got a parking ticket. How do I pay it?
Cambrian College parking tickets must be paid within thirty (30) days. An early payment discount may apply if the parking fine is paid within fourteen (14) days of issue. After creating your account via the ParkAdmin link or by accessing your existing ParkAdmin user profile, payment can be processed online using by a valid Visa or MasterCard. Cash, cheques and Interac payments are accepted in person at Parking Services, room 2207.
What happens if I fail to pay my tickets?
Failure to pay fines may result in your vehicle being immobilized or your account being sent to a collection agency.

Please note that you will not be permitted to purchase a new parking permit unless all parking fines are paid in full.
How do I appeal a parking ticket?
You must appeal your parking ticket online within fourteen (14) days from the issue date. Visit myCambrian to access the Online Appeal System within ParkAdmin. Ticket numbers that have passed the appeal date eligibility will not be visible if queried in this system as they are no longer eligible to be appealed.
Am I able to get a refund?
Refunds may be obtained for annual permits and semester permits on a pro-rated basis.

  • Annual Fall permits will be refunded until January 31.

  • Annual Winter permits will be refunded until May 31.

  • Annual Spring permits will be refunded until September 30.


Semester permits are refunded within 60 days of purchase only. A $25 fee will apply to all permit refunds. The permit must be returned to receive a refund. There are no refunds on monthly permits.

I am a contractor working on campus. Do I have to pay to park?
All contractors must register with the Facilities department and obtain a temporary contractor permit in order to park on campus.
What is the winter parking and snow removal policy on campus?
To facilitate snow removal, no overnight parking is permitted on campus other than in Lot 1 and Residence lot 11 South between November 15 and April 15, from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Vehicles remaining parked in any exterior lot after 12 a.m. obstructing snow clearing operations will be ticketed and/or towed away at the owner’s expense.

If special parking arrangements are required for non-permit holder overnight parking on campus, queries may be directed to the Parking Services Office during normal business hours.
