The Stephanie Bertrand Memorial Award was established in honor of Stephanie, a Cambrian College alumni and loyal Cambrian employee.

Stephanie had a great enthusiasm for the outdoors, a passion for physical fitness, and a love of animals. She enjoyed snowboarding, riding motorcycles, working out, and running with her dogs.  Stephanie’s bright smile and infectious personality touched countless people in the community, during her times serving coffee at Starbucks, personal training at the college, or spending time with family and friends. Her courage and fighting spirit have inspired us all to be ourselves and to do our best. Stephanie was very thoughtful and always put others before herself.

The Stephanie Bertrand Memorial Award is awarded to a full-time Cambrian College student in the Physical Fitness Management program, the program which Stephanie graduated from, and will be awarded to a student that embodies the qualities that Stephanie valued: being a team player, dedicated to his/her studies and extra-curricular activities, a willingness to go above and beyond to help his/her peers, and exceptional leadership skills.
