Cambrian College Ramps Up for Giving Tuesday

Posted on Thursday November 17, 2022

SUDBURY –  It’s the season for giving!

This year Cambrian College is hoping you will circle Tuesday, November 29, Giving Tuesday, on your calendar and help out a college student in need.

Giving Tuesday is such an important day for our students,” says Brandi Braithwaite, Cambrian’s Director of Development and Alumni. "We have so many students who are trying to focus on their classes and assignments while working part-time just to make ends meet, and we really want to remove the worries we can.  Again this year, our Giving Tuesday campaign is enjoying the support of our generous donors and some amazing corporate partners who are really stepping up to help out.”

A number of local business and individuals will provide matching donations toward a specific field of study or area of interest.

“Our community personifies generosity, and we are asking for people to help out in any way they can,” adds Bill Best, Cambrian’s President.   “All of the money raised goes to students who need it. It’s your way of making sure students can focus on what matters most – their studies.”
