SUDBURY – They couldn’t make their Rendez-vous, but Cambrian College employees celebrated their achievements nonetheless.
Rendez-vous is an annual event held to honour employees who are retiring, have reached milestone years in their careers, or are being cited for exemplary service, through the President’s Awards for Excellence.
The COVID-19 pandemic has closed the Cambrian campus since March, but that didn’t stop Cambrian from celebrating its employees, after one of the most challenging years in the college’s history.
“This has been an extraordinary year, and I am very proud to celebrate the hard work of our employees who went above and beyond to help our students and each other navigate COVID-19 and still achieve a successful year,” says Cambrian College President Bill Best. “We’re also taking time to say goodbye to our fellow colleagues who are retiring this year. Thank you for your lifetime of service to Cambrian. You will be missed and we wish you the best in all your future endeavours.”
Here are this year’s winners of the President’s Award for Excellence:
