Profs, President Get Wet at Charity Carnival

On Wednesday March 24, Cambrian College Public Relations students offered students a sweet treat during their mid-terms and added some extra excitement through an on-campus carnival fundraiser.

The carnival featured a popular pie-toss and a dunk tank.  Faculty and staff members, including Cambrian President Bill Best, volunteered to help raise funds and support the student-driven initiative. Many Public Relations students enjoyed the opportunity to “pie” David Kilgour (their professor) in the face, along with the other pie-toss volunteers. President Best was a popular dunk tank volunteer, splashing into the water no less than 17 times over the course of an hour.

Proceeds from the Carnival went to the Cambrian College Foundation in support of Public Relations student bursaries the Sam Bruno P.E.T. Scan Fund.
