The Program post type is, as implied by its name, used for housing information about programs at Cambrian College.

To add a new news item, select Programs › Add New from the menu.

To browse all posts, select Programs › All Programs from the menu (or simply click the Programs item in the menu itself).

General Fields

This post type contains a number of configurable options, some of which are shared with other post types, and some of which are unique to the Program post type.

Title

Located at the top of the page, the title box allows content editors to provide the news item with a simple title.

Content

Located directly under the title bar, the content area includes a rich-text (visual) editor that allows content editors to input their content, and format it as required. There is also a text-based editing option for content editors with HTML proficiency.

The content entered into this area will appear near the top of the page, directly beneath the program type and field of study.

General Program Options

The following fields are general options of the Program post type:

CourseLeaf Program – Use this option to set the CourseLeaf URL for this program. Details links/buttons will direct the user to this URL.

Application URL – Use this option to set the application URL for this program. Application links/buttons will direct the user to this URL.

Contact URL – Use this option to set the contact URL for this program. Contact links/buttons will direct the user to this URL.

Field of Study – Use this option to set the Field of Study associated with this program. This will define the Field of Study that appears on the program page. This will also help organize the programs into their respective fields of study on the Programs Landing page.

Program Type – Use this option to define the type of program.

Program Code – Use this option to set the program code.

Large Image – Use this option to select the image that should appear in the large diamond on the program page.

Small Image – Use this option to select the image that should appear in the smaller diamond on the program page.

Program Video – Use this option to set the URL for the video relating to this program. If this option is set, a small “play” icon will appear on the smaller image on this page, linking to the video.

Program Testimonial – Use this option to define a testimonial for this program. The testimonial option uses the following sub-fields:

Testimonial Content – This field contains the main content of the program testimonial.

Testimonial Name – This field contains the name of the individual to whom the testimonial is attributed.

Testimonial Designation – This field contains the designation (title, program or other such detail) of the individual to whom the testimonial is attributed.

Testimonial Photo – This field contains the photo of the individual to whom the testimonial is attributed.

Benefits Options

The following fields are options under the Benefits tab for the Programs post type:

Career Outcomes – Use this repeating field to add a list of potential career outcomes for this program.

Accreditations – Use this repeating field to add a list of accreditations related to this program.

Salary - Low End – Use this option to define the low-end of the salary range for this program.

Salary - High End – Use this option to define the high-end of the salary range for this program.

Highlight – Use this option to include a brief blurb about some aspect of the program that is worth highlighting.

Future Options

The following fields are options under the Future tab for the Programs post type:

Next Start Date - Year – Use this option to set the next start year for this program. This value (together with the month) will be displayed on the program page.

Next Start Date - Month – Use this option to set the next start month for this program. This value (together with the year) will be displayed on the program page.

Delivery Options – Use this option to define the list of delivery options that are available for this program.

Salary - High End – Use this option to define the minimum length of this program (in months). The entered value will be used, along with the next start month and year, to calculate the “Graduate By” value displayed on the program page.

Additional Information Options

The following fields are options under the Additional Information tab for the Programs post type:

Additional Information Links – Use this repeating information to add a list of links to additional information about this program. Each link uses the following sub fields:

Link Text – Use this field to define the text that will appear in the link.

Link URL – Use this field to define URL that the link will point to.

Image Gallery Options

The following fields are options under the Image Gallery tab for the Programs post type:

Image Gallery – Use this option to define the images that should appear in the image gallery for this program.
