Message from President Bill Best
On this page we will post updates on positive cases of COVID-19 reported to us involving members of the Cambrian community who have been on our main or satellite campuses within 14 days of their diagnosis.
As always, we wish a full and quick recovery to everyone from the Cambrian community who tests positive for COVID-19 and we will support them in any way we can. However, only those cases that have been on campus will be reported here.
When we are informed of a positive case of COVID-19 in which the person has been on campus, we will take whatever measures are necessary to ensure the health and safety of our students, employees, and visitors, including deep cleaning of any affected areas and rescheduling of classes or labs if necessary.
Through contact tracing, Public Health will notify all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by Public Health, you are not considered a close contact.
Cambrian has a comprehensive response plan to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus. Measures include limiting access to campus to only those students, faculty, and staff who must be on site to facilitate learning, controlled entrances, pre-screening for COVID symptoms, mandatory wearing of masks on campus, physical distancing measures in labs and classes, and closing of common areas.
We have also made significant upgrades to our heating, cooling, and ventilation systems throughout the college, installing new state-of-the-art ionization filtration units which clean the air of mold, bacteria, allergens and viruses.

Stay well, stay safe, and be kind to each other.
