Get involved in student government

At Cambrian, there are many ways for you to take a break from your studies, add some experience to your résumé, and make the most of your time in college.

From athletics and campus events, to student governments and volunteer opportunities, there’s something for everyone.

Cambrian Student Council

The Cambrian Student Council (CSC) is a group of dedicated students elected by the student body at Cambrian College. They coordinate, promote, and support activities and services for the students, including bursaries, entertainment, SWAG and prize giveaways, a health plan, academic grievance representation, student agenda books, political lobbying and more!

Be heard, be part of something

Elections are held annually for positions within the CSC Executive.

The term of office for the CSC Executive is from May 1 to April 30 of the following year. The current CSC members for the 2022-23 school year are:

Cambrian Athletic Association

The Cambrian Athletic Association (CAA) is the elected body of students that provide input in the decision-making process with respect to the athletic programs at Cambrian College.

The CAA offers two levels of programming to meet the needs of both the recreational and the varsity athlete.

Cambrian Indigenous Student Circle (CISC)

Formerly CNSA

CISC is a student-driven, elected association that assists and supports students by promoting Indigenous culture and improving the quality of Indigenous student life. By organizing events and activities highlighting Indigenous culture, language, traditions, stories and ceremonies, our focus is on introducing, education and sharing aspects of the Indigenous way of life with the entire student body.  We invite EVERYONE into the circle! CISC welcomes all new and returning students to visit us in room 2140. The CISC office and lounge space is here for you to enjoy, visit, meet new friends and find information about our services and culture.
