Post-secondary students with concerns about student life, health or mental well-being can now call Good2Talk, a province-wide service that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is a free, confidential and anonymous service that offers professional counseling, mental health information and connections to local resources.
Mental illness affects people of all cultures, genders, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds. That’s why we’re all talking about it. Learn more about what others are saying and enhance your understanding of mental health.
Bridging the Distance provides mental health support for postsecondary students who are at a distance from college services, who are seeking information, or who are in crisis and in need of immediate help.
By learning more about mental health, and by providing a strong support network, we can help bridge the distance between students and the services and information they may need to support their success and continued mental health. This site is a joint effort between five northern colleges – Cambrian, Canadore, Confederation, Northern and Sault.
