We are here to help you achieve your goals and have flexible learning options to fit your schedule. You can study:
- Part-time (minimum 6 hours per week)
- Full-time (maximum 20 hours per week)
- Days, evenings, or on a swing-shift basis
- In person OR online

Cost
There is no cost to attend Academic Upgrading.
Child care, transportation, and other expenses may be covered for those who qualify. Contact us for more details.
Access to College Services
As a student in the program, you receive a virtual photo ID card (in mycambrian) that allows you to:
- Borrow books from the library
- Receive reduced prices at businesses that offer student rates and discounts
- Receive a student rate for bus passes
- Use the College’s athletic facilities (if you are a full-time student)
- Use computer labs with Internet connections
- Access academic, personal, and financial counselling services
- Access services/assistance for students with accessibility needs
- Access employment services for full-time, part-time, seasonal, and contract opportunities
- Get free tutoring through The Learning Centre
