We’re hosting our Research and Innovation Week from April 8 to 12. Events include our Research Showcase highlighting many of our applied research projects, the Student Innovation Challenge Powered by RBC Future Launch, the latest edition of the Unlikely Innovators podcast, and a special funding announcement hosted by Cambrian R&D.

    Drop by and check out some of the exciting projects Cambrian R&D has undertaken this past year! Students and industry partners will be on hand to talk further about these partnerships. And, of course, innovation goes better with popcorn, so grab a bag and tour our Research Showcase.

  • Cambrian Student Innovation Challenge, Powered by RBC Future Launch

    April 11, 2024, 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

    Cheer on Cambrian students pitching their business ideas to a panel of judges to compete for $6,500 in prize money. The event will also feature a keynote presentation by David Anselmo, President of Hideaway Pictures Inc. & CEO of Northern Ontario Film Studios. Guest judges include Gabrielle Roy, owner of Stitch & Stone, Shouyi Ma, President and CEO of Hanson Canada, and Bill Bray from Royal Bank of Canada.
