Theatre Arts – Technical Production

This intensive, hands-on program will prepare you to work in all sectors of the entertainment industry, including northern Ontario's booming film and TV production industry.

You'll hit the ground running and work alongside your classmates to build and run a minimum of two main stage productions each year. You'll also provide technical support for the Music program's concert series, various productions and events within the school, as well as community based productions and events. Courses cover every aspect of the business, from the practical elements of stage and running crew, to design and management. Special emphasis is placed on applying theory and technology in practical situations, while working safely in the theatre environment.

At the program's core is a highly talented faculty. With more than 100 years of combined experience in the professional production world, they bring a knowledge base of theory and practical experience from national and international careers working in all disciplines of the entertainment industry, including theatre, live events, film, and video production.
