Blueprint Reading

Hard hat and architectural plansGet an introduction to basic blueprint reading and common methods of construction. Learn to use construction drawings to discuss topics ranging from soil evacuation to roof design. Discuss legal concepts of building/planning codes and statutes. Gain a foundation of residential/commercial construction principles, and codes in practice today.

Days: Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Starts: January 14 for three weekends

Small Engine Repair (FULL)

Mechanic adjusts ignition coil on small gasoline engine.Learn how to diagnose, repair, and maintain two-stroke and four-stroke engines in all your gas-powered equipment and toys in this hands-on class that covers everything from basic troubleshooting to winterization.

You will also be expected to bring in your own small gas engine for the lab work on Sunday.

Note: CSA-approved safety boots and safety glasses will be required for admittance to all lab classes.

Required tool set:

  • Socket Set
  • Screw Drivers
  • Oil filters and oil – if required
  • Pliers

Cost: $116.73
Days: Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Starts: January 21 and 22 for one weekend

Spanish Level I

Spanish ClassLearn and improve your speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.

Cost: $340.20
Days: Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Starts: January 14 for five weekends
